Our Story
Texpress Urgent Care is a privately owned local small business, with one location, that opened in 2017. We are open everyday to provide health care to individuals, families, and students in the Huntsville and surrounding areas. Additionally, Texpress Urgent Care is an active part of our local community. We are proudly partnered with SHSU Rugby and Huntsville ISD Athletics, we are a LEO and LGBTQ+ friendly environment and donate to local scholarships and charity’s like the Peyton Irwin Memorial Foundation and SAAFE House.
What exactly is an urgent care? You see it listed on your insurance card between PCP and Emergency Room. Urgent Cares are the bridge between Primary Care (monthly/yearly maintenance) and Emergency Care (life or death).
Texpress Urgent Care is a walk-in clinic with no appointment needed that can treat your illnesses, injuries, and provide preventative care.
Whether you are insured or cash-pay the cost is much lower to come to an Urgent Care rather than an ER. Our co-pays are normally $0-$100 (depending on your insurance plan) over normal ER co-pays that start at $200-$500. Our cash-pay prices start at $145 and we notify our self pay patient's prior to treatment of additional costs.

Kimberly graduated from Texas A&M University in 1999 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. During her college years she obtained her paramedic license and has worked for multiple 911 EMS services including Walker County EMS. Kimberly graduated from Seton Hill University with her certification in Physician Assistant studies in 2005. She began her practice at the Huntsville Memorial Hospital ER. She is a member of the Robertson County Go-Texan Committee, Santa Gertrudis Breeders International, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Texas A&M Association of Former Students.

I moved to Huntsville from Waller Tx in 2008 to attend Sam Houston State University. I majored in Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude with hopes of pursuing a career in medicine. During my undergraduate pursuits, I began working at Huntsville Memorial Hospital as an ER scribe and quickly realized I wanted to become a PA. I graduated from PA school at UTMB with honors and returned back to Huntsville to begin my career as a PA in the ER.

Amanda graduated from Angelina College in 2014 as the Representative of her Graduating Radiography Class and completed her clinicals at Joint Commission accredited facilities Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital and Woodland Heights Medical Center. Amanda completed her Magnetic Resonance Imaging clinicals at Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands as well as Baylor Scott and White in College Station and has graduated with a Bachelor degree in Health Management with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2023.
